Personal Statement
I specialize in immersive arts and experiential design. Working with computer graphics, virtual reality, and real-time production, my approach is rooted in procedural generation and computational design, which I see as a bridge between human creativity and unexpected outcomes. Much like automatic drawing, where the hand moves freely without conscious control, procedural techniques allow for an organic, evolving creative process.
I admire nature and outdoor environments. Whether it's the intricate textures of rocks, the fluid movement of water, or the organic patterns that emerge in natural landscapes, I find endless fascination in the way these elements form. Observing their randomness sharpens my curiosity about how similar complexity can be achieved digitally through procedural methods. Every time I examine these forms, I instinctively begin to decode them, thinking about how to translate their essence into 3D. This ongoing exploration excites and challenges me, reinforcing my passion for digital world-building.
Looking ahead, I see technology, art, and design as an ever-expanding field with profound societal implications. While advancements in technology continue to provide new creative possibilities, I believe that strong conceptual thinking and storytelling remain essential to meaningful artistic expression. Tools and algorithms may shape the process, but it is the artist’s intent and vision that give the work depth and purpose.
Beyond the creative aspects, I am a methodical artist with a strong focus on execution and problem-solving. Beside procedural workflow and dynamic simulation, my expertise spans across the 3D production pipeline and digital compositing. I thrive in technical problem-solving, ensuring that my work is both visually and conceptually compelling and efficiently produced.
